Again not a major follower of baseball, but havent they been playing it over there for like a hundred years? Super serious following and unlike our teams, their players play for the team itself. Like odd ball stuff such as intentional walk, bunts, etc. to get people on bases.

Hediki Matsui is a great player and represents everything that is good with the great game of baseball. Him getting the MVP takes a little bit of the edge off the foul taste that watching the Yankees cheat their way to another tainted title has left in my mouth.
