Weird Emails, can anyone verify this as spam?

I've been getting a couple of weird e-mails by now. While I ignored them at the start, they just keep sending them now. Is there anyone who has gotten similar emails and can verify it as spam? Just so I can block the sender.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I secured your contact through a directory and that is why I have written to let you know that there are Millions of British Pounds Sterling in the codicil and last testament of a deceased who happens to be my client (Name now withheld). Since this is our second letter to you, I am hereby, contacting you again because you are qualified by your name identity since you bear the same surname with the deceased and could receive the funds upon claims.

We request that you kindly forward to us your letter of acceptance; Your current telephone and fax numbers and a forwarding address to enable us file necessary documents at our high court probate division for the release of this sum of money.

I await your response.

Kind regards,
Brown Morgan

Hello ,

I received your email and will like you to know that i sort your partnership in having this funds transferred for our mutual benefit. Do not take this transaction for granted. This partnership shall be based on TRUST AND CONFIDENCE.

Am working as an insider in the bank and we had a deceased customer who left the said amount with our bank, he died without presenting any will or next of kin who may inherit such deposit if he dies. Our bank have tried through my office to link any of his relative or next of kin without luck and it is fortunate that am the officer conducting this investigation, the report I would tender to the bank is what they will accept as regards to this matter. You know that if I should tender an abortive report to my bank, the bank management must surely refer the fund to our vault as a deposit without history and be using the funds on servicing banks commitments. Hence, I decided to go the other way round on utilizing the golden opportunity that may come once on one`s life.

However, I had a lot of thought before I decided to contact you as some body who has the same surname with our deceased customer who happens to be the original depositor of the said funds. The only thing that will be needed from you is your utmost cooperation, trust, honesty and be ready to be following my instructions. With this things being in place, am giving you the assurance that the funds will be released to you without problem as I will be covering up all the loopholes or any thing that may cause backfire after the funds might be released into your account where I shall join you for sharing.

Consequently, if you agree to work with me on trust and confidence , I shall introduce you to an experience attorney here who specialized on an estate recovery, this attorney will assist you on securing all the necessary documents that will legally entitles you to claim the said funds without hitch. All the secret that is surrounds this transaction could never be made known to the attorney, the attorney will have the knowledge that you are the real next of kin to our deceased customer, he can can only work under the instruction we may feed to him as your contracted attorney, what he may require from you is few personal information that would be useful on securing all the legal documents to your favor and once all the legal documents is secured and tender to our bank, I shall personally spearhead/ trigger the transfer of the funds to your account. Once the transfer is perfectly done, I will fly over to join you for sharing, before that, I must tender an application of retirement because I cant continue working with my bank once the transfer is perfectly executed, I must resign and join other personal business.

Please do not forget to treat this transaction with the maximum privacy for our own good. I await your urgent response through this mail box.

Yours Sincerely.
Brown Morgan.

New to the net? Look up Nigerian 419 scams. I've been receiving them (usually multiple copies to different unique addresses for each domain) for years.

You were suspicious? Um, it should be immediately apparent that its a Nigerian scam email that's just sent massively hoping to get one dope to fall for it. Don't worry though, I had the guy arrested.
