I played a while this evening. It was packed as shit.

I assume he means Modern Warfare, since MW2 comes out tonight at midnight.

Drove past the Gamestop earlier and there was already a line for the midnight release.

Might try to grab a copy at midnight after I workout if there are any left.

Still contemplating going to get this tonight at midnight...Surely don't feel like sitting in some huge line with a bunch of WoW nerds who will try and kick my ass if I butt in line. :1orglaugh

Well there's World At War which came out after the first Modern Warfare, so MW2 would techinically be COD6?

It got a little weird but for some reason they split them up. So now Modern Warfare and Call of Duty are two separate franchises.

There is a new Call of Duty coming out next year I guess.

Wow, lots of people out there buying this game. The Gamestop had like 500 people waiting outside so I went to the Best Buy a few doors down where at least you could hang out in the store. Still a few hundred people at Best Buy when I left.

Got the game though :)

They must be making some serious bank.

It's hilarious the people that goto Gamestop, theres one right by walmart and there's always a line around the corner for games, you goto walmart in the same parking lot and there's at most 20 peoples waiting. You can literally drive by them with the game you just bought waving it at them.

is it really that good ? Just played Bad Company on PS3, I liked the physics (destruction, demolition of almost all objects,houses,roads) and the great sound, does MW offers that too?

Some of you all are fucking addicts and very addicted.

Standing in line at fucking midnight in the fucking cold and possible rain to be the first to get some game. Will be the same fucking game tomorrow or the next day.

Worse than some crack heads. Only difference is the majority are not stealing shit to get their fix. Pretty damn sure if they ran out, some of you would suck some dick in secret for a copy tonight.

I think what happens is that a LOT of those people put money down to reserve it to make sure they get their copy rather than taking a chance getting it from Wal-Mart, even though, as of late, Wal-Mart has been on the ball with game releases, actually getting in quantities of the big games.

People who pre-ordered the game from actual Game shops aren't happy today as they are selling it for £45, while the supermarkets are selling it for £26. :1orglaugh

I just picked mine up for £26 an hour ago. :upsidedow
