Modify images for google images traffic?
 

Do you modify images (ie. slightly crop or watermark) to change the checksum of the file so google images may consider your images unique?

never really thought of that, but I guess it makes sense that google wouldn't want to index the same image over and over again in the image serps... I generally custom crop and size everything I use so that works ok for me, but your post makes sense

Yes, it does make sense.

Why would you want google images traffic? It's just slightly better quality than russian hitbot traffic.
