Mines been empty for a while, I rarely use the DVD shit, I prefer the instant watch straight to my 360, but damn are the instant watch selections getting scarce... Nothing worth watching anymore...

That is a movie you will either love or hate. If it wasn't for Marisa Tomei being naked for half the movie I couldn't have even finished watching.

Was wondering what happened to you. Have not seen you around lately.

Which version? 2001 or 2008?

Jayvis 11-12-2009 03:15 PM

I'm not a big fan of Kevin Smith movies, but as a public speaker he is amazing. He's pretty entertaining and dishes a lot of great inside dirt about the movie industry. I think you'd like some of his stuff Lloyd:

You can even instawatch!

http://www.netflix.com/Movie/An_Even...0&trkid=222336

There are two other ones besides that, all worth watching.

high tension is pretty good

one of my old school favorites is Duel

Anything with David Attenborough hanging from a tree in someplace you've never heard of is good. Netflix has tons of him.

I've been thinking of cancelling our service. We have the three out at a time with blu ray selections and it's getting harder and harder to keep a que full of shows I actually want to watch. Lately the wife has just been throwing chick flick movies on there that I have no interest in watching and they sit in the house for a week before she gets them watched. Feeding right into their hands basically.

Yeah, I have the three option also, which sucks real bad when I am out of town for extended periods of time. If anything they are forcing me to watch movies I have already seen.

Yeah, I just got the 1 DVD out with Instant Watch, I just kick the DVD stuff to my mom and let her choose shit... Still worth the $8/mo I pay because even though theres nothing I actually WANNA watch on instant, it forces me to watch a movie I never seen before and probably wouldn't if I had the choice and end up liking it.

Pretty sad. Just looked at the movies I'll love [according to them] and it had a grand total of two. Both of which I have already seen.

I think they are suggesting I cancel.

Horny Dude 11-13-2009 02:17 AM

If you like Indie movies then here are two:

Goodbye Solo - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1095442/
Sin Nombre - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1127715/

I just started adding classics that I would've never watch before, but ended up liking 80% of them.

JD 11-13-2009 02:20 AM

SarahLLO 11-13-2009 02:48 AM

lmao yeah hot fuzz was awesome! there's a bit of pre-req with it though... like shawn of the dead, British comedy is an acquired taste

uno 11-13-2009 04:21 AM

Off the top of my head:

Grosse Point Blank
Cube
Homegrown
Jacob's Ladder
Old Boy

What kinds of movies are you looking for? What were the 2 suggestions you've already seen?

'mo 11-13-2009 04:24 AM

Freeway if you haven't seen it. Reese Witherspoon plays white trash hooker. Kiefer Southerland, other big names, but most people don't know about it.

kmanrox 11-13-2009 04:28 AM

Fantastic movie that did not get the credit or attention it should have. I think they may of just went straight to video or something with it.

I saw it on HBO the first time, it may have went there. I still even after that found it hard to find on video. Not many places carry it, but the movie still entertains me time after time.
