Well, I love it here. The weather is gorgeous. Foxy broads EVERYWHERE.
I haven't made any money yet, because I didn't get the place in the city I had planned on... but this Orange County isn't so bad. Craigslist is dead here. Sigh. And it's not a big deal like everyone I talked to said that it was. Disney land. Big deal.

I'll definitely be back.

If you're out here, go to Newport beach - the beachside property looks really good, to me, if the guy wasn't lying about the income.... shit.. looks really fucking good

If I had the credit for it I'd buy one, live in it and I am fairly sure that the rest of the place would pay the financing cost / maintenance... I don't know exact numbers but my gut really liked the property, there.. Go check it out!

Amusement park wise you HAVE to hit the original and still the fucking best there is. Spend at least half a day if not a full day at Knotts Berry farm. Just order your ticket or tickets online as it usually is cheaper. Though it is cheaper that Disney land by far and there is a reason the farm is the number 1 park. Find some boysenberry punch while there, plus the chicken is damn good, hell most of the food is.
Plus this time of the year the Halloween haunt is still going on I think. It costs extra but well worth it. Sure they have some sort of combo ticket.

Curious why didnt you check craigslist to verify activity before you came out?
Would think if you wanted to collect freebee's or cheap items for quick resale. The OC would not be the place to be. You would need to research other cities and better learn some other tactics beyond craigslist - like the mailer people get that tells them to leave stuff out on the curb for free pickup to go to some charity.

What you mean the guy was lying about the income?
See I live in CA myself and people would have to pay me to live in that area. Hell in my mind that is not really even part of the state (yeah I know it is and everyone thinks of it when you say CA - Damn PR).

That is just because all of the other Mexicans. You are no longer than unique and that means less ladies find you interesting. :winkwink:

one thing I found in OC when I lived there was the police presence is a bit overboard though, if you can make it a few months without getting pulled over for nothing while driving I'd be surprised... but I guess they try to keep the riffraff out that way

I did check CL before I came out... It's pretty busy, but there isn't much in OC, from what I've seen. I would think that OC would have been a great place to buy things to resell. Thought people with money lived here? In these areas, should be alot of overextended idiots with expensive toys to sell desperately cheap...

The biggest problem is that that two different people who were supposed to slide me a couple g's apiece to hustle on, well, they let me down... so it's become a fucking pleasure trip at this point.... sigh

I was going to go out putting wiper stickers on cars for some dating sites and cpa offers (with a redirected domain on 'em) but every time I breathe I see police, sheriff, security... it's like a county wearing a chastity belt !! LoL over here !!

Nah not freecycle either. That is still pretty unknown to many. Some charity actually mails out these giant yellow or green postcards that explain how everything they collect goes to a charity store. They also mention they need certain item types. They then give you a date to leave stuff on the curb with the card attached (or no pick up) and they will take everything. Often they even give a basic time window.
Some people drive around on donation day, looking for the cards and stuff on the curbs. They quickly stop and grab what they want, toss in back of van or truck and move on.
