Seizethedomain.com for escrow services? Can anyone recommend them?
I'm dealing with someone who wants to use seizethedomain.com for an escrow transaction but I've never heard of them and couldn't find any information on their site about escrow services.
Can anyone vouch for them? |

They also did the CybernetExpo and Quebec Montreal show domain auctions. |
I would check with Alex to make sure everything is above board if it involves $$$$$.

Can anyone else besides CyberClaire give me feedback on Seizethedomain.com?
The other party is paying the fees so it makes sense that they get to choose the escrow company, I just need to make sure they're honest brokers and not just "this guy's bro"....b/c I've never heard of them. Plskthx |
i know he posts here. didn't know he offered escrow services.

Snake Doctor,
Every medium and large domain brokerage is set up to escrow transactions. Transactions between our sellers and buyers are already done in house. We do not openly promote our escrow service, as its never intended it to be a revenue stream. It has been a service for our existing clients. Contact me directly if you have any further questions. CyberClaire, thanks for bring this to my thread to my attention. Hope all is well with you. |

Accept no imitations, the best escrow, is just that... www.escrow.com

Jesus I'm glad I'm getting out of this fucking retarded business.
The buyer wants to use escrow, the buyer pays the fees, therefore he chooses the escrow service. I just wanted someone to vouch that this service was legit, and instead I get a bunch of fucking retarded monkeys spamming other services. I definitely won't miss this fucking place. |

NEVER however pay for an appraisal because a potential buyer is suggesting it with a particular place. I sell domains for a living, have been involved in several hundred sales transactions and have never once had a legitimate buyer ask me to pay for an appraisal on a domain they were interested in - that's 100% scam. |
Just an FYI that everything went smoothly and Seizethedomain was an honest broker in the deal.

escrow.com for domain transfers is bullshit. They are fine if you trust the seller/buyer (but then why would you use escrow?) but considering they don't take control of the domain, and rely on little more then whois information (which is obviously a very shotty way of conducting escrow) it leaves both the buyer and seller way too vulnerable. What is to stop the seller pushing the domain to another one of his own fake accounts and claiming the push occurred or vice versa? I don't really love moniker typically, but for escrow they certainly offer the most peace of mind.

nevermind, I don't care.
