Hard times in Hollywood are bringing about a surge in job applications in the porn business.

Adult film companies say they have seen a dramatic increase in the number of people with big budget film experience reaching out for employment?with applicants ranging from directors and film crews to marketing specialists.

ha! good luck getting hired.. porn is so close knit that unless they know someone or can do something amazing on the cheap they aint gonna get work.

and we all know hollywood egos.. i had to work on set with a lightening guy that came from hollywood, as we were breaking down the set he walked away and said thats not his job.... he was not hired back.

recently I needed to hire some editors, within 2 days I got over 600 applications, many with 15+ years of solid experience, I hired 3 so far all have a mainstream background.

its a great time to start and do things now, so many talented people looking for work, its a great time to get rid of all the junk within your company and hire truly hungry dedicated people.

maybe for editing, but i would never replace a crew member with a hollywood person. for too many years hollywood has sat on its high horse looking down on porn and now that times are tough it comes with hat in hand.

Are you serious? Tell me who DOESN'T look down on porn other than those IN porn. Hell, most porn consumers wouldn't even admit they are and would join a mob against porn in a heartbeat. No one stands up for porn outside of porn.
