need freeware for mac to compress pics

i'm out of my office , and stuck with my mac and i want to know what is the best freeware i can use to compress my pics to upload on my website .

are you trying to make a zip file? Right click the folder and choose "Compress"

Are you trying to lower the file size so they display quicker on your website? Preview can do that.

Trying to resize images? The Gimp is free open source and runs on the mac.

Hope that helps, I'm not exactly clear on what you're trying to do.
