Microsoft give up the windows media server?
 

Just discover wmp12 in Windows7 can do the true streaming in wmv and mp4 , not progressive download.
Actually you got nothing to setup.

Before when you click on a wmv link, WMP popup and do the progressive download, and now with wmp12, it will be a true streaming.
i.e. moving the seeking bar and view any part of the video instantly.

unlikely that wmp supports many simultaneous connections
