Booking rates for models
 

Anyone seen a drop in the rates models are booking for these days.
I have seen a small drop but nothing like I hear about.....

Perhaps there has been indeed a drop in the booking rates for models. I am not aware of any such change. Good luck with your search.

I shoot regularly and rates are down 20 - 40% if you're booking through an agent. They're down more if you're booking on your own. Basically, no reasonable offer refused.

I used to pay around $900 a B/G scene from agencies. For the last 18 months ive been getting many models contact me direct and we pay them around $600+. Ive had two agencies contact me and offer models for a similar price. Most seem to be stuck at the old prices.

Yep this make perfect sense. Models realize its better to work for $600 3 days a week than $900 once a week.:thumbsup

i am paying slightly less, but i also notice that my clients want better hotter models so basically we are paying same for top tier models.

I would have thought that all prices would have to be competitive to the area. Obviously for myself, Maybe London rates are higher than Manchester or Birmingham. I have noticed a high drop in escort fees in London. Lots of London escorts, beautiful girls are offering half hour with bareback for less than £100... Some are £80.
Thats pretty mad when they are seeing 4 maybe 5 clients a day!

The 10 % of girls at the big agencies are still getting $1000-$1200 a scene

The second tier, say those that get booked 10 times a month, are still getting around $900 a scene.

The third tier, which is the other 75% of girls in porn are really struggling.

Most of them work less than 5 times per month, and would do scenes for way less, but their agents don't let them.

this is the brick wall i often hit with talent agencies... they just dont want to let their girls do cheap scenes, even small shit like 10min HJ scenes esp when i tell them i'm a relatively new producer that has done less than 100 scenes so far. i just find girls myself and have never paid any of them more than 250. in canada where i film mostly 150 is top pay... and thats not even USD :thumbsup
