Interesting who can one bump into around here these days, one of my all time favorite guitarists.

Texas born guitar prodigy of the late 60's (guess I still have the record from Scene club NYC 1968 where he jammed with Jimmy Hendrix), mixing rock n roll and blues, recently also collaborating with many old school bluesmen.

I remember I explored him in the "official" three hour Woodstock movie.

Although I'm afraid after long years of fighting with drugs it probably won't be one of those energy packed shows as on the video.

I guess there's no harm in paying a little tribute to the man.
