.... is becoming MORE and MORE intrusive with each passing month. Anyone see that santa and his reindeer SEARS ad on yahoo that takes up the entire page if your cursor passes over the ad box (very common advertising gimmick)? I admit that it is an amazing spectacle of an ad, but I do not go to yahoo to watch fucking SEARS ads. We won't even mention all the misleading blond links that entice you to click on the answer to a question to win $$$, only to send you to a sales pitch.

They use to complain about all the aggressive advertising on adult sites, but now the mainstream sites are ten times worse than adult. If you surf from a LL like GG, you can almost guarantee MINIMUM advertising because of the strict rules. Surfing porn is about as surfer friendly as it gets these days and there's more free porn than ever. No wonder the industry is in the toilet.

When times get tough, the ads get tougher... Just my 2 cents

All media outlets are hurting for cash and will do anything for an advertiser, even if that means upsetting the consumer. Look at those little pop-ups on your tv when you're watching a show. They've been getting bigger and bigger each time.
