Any real SEO pros out there know how to get rid of a -950 google penalty?

Please hit me up. Some success in removing this very particular penalty in the past is a must.

if i knew i would change it and ask to be reconsidered. All I know is what I did to the site prior to that time and some hunches I have as to why. Nothing wrong... no black hat or anything. I have a suspicion another site copied my tags and titles with a very similar name. I have requested reconsideration 2 times already and am about to do it a 3rd time but want to get some advice from some pros with this penalty prior.

sucks man..better to move on..

~Ray 11-20-2009 07:46 PM

wait 2 weeks, it might comeback

BSleazy 11-20-2009 07:50 PM

If it was loaded with affiliate links than you're probably just screwed like I have been in the past. Good luck.

No I had these problems back before that was really an issue.

Manual reviews can fuck you.

I agree with BCyber on this, getting google to manually reconsider a banned site that is a typical adult affiliate blog you might as well just let the domain expire, even if it gets unbanned it seems likely that it will never pull more than a tiny trickle of google traffic after that, you'd probably outperform it in the serps in a month with a brand new 99 cent .info domain with no backlinks :2 cents:

Max_PuZcash 11-21-2009 06:48 AM

I'm pretty sure I had the same problem until I redesigned my page, put more relevant text on the site und removed some hardlinks links to low quality sites, then google showed me some love and placed me on 'normal' positions...

gonzojoh 11-21-2009 07:11 AM

buy a new domain. move the site to the new domain, change title/metas, 301 redirect the old site to the new one (htaccess redirect for the whole site). Build a few links and give it some time, it'll outperform the old one.

make sure the new domain hasn't been regged before.

Have you actually contacted a Google rep mcnig?

I have had it happen it happen before with one of my adult sites, and contacted them when it happened. They told me what I needed to fix, and a basic guide/idea on how. I have also had to contact them on site that was penalized and removed from index entirely years ago. Board lore told me I was fucked and to throw the site away it would never come back. Since I do not listen to board lore on such matters, I contacted them, faxed them a doc, and was back included.

The site is actually 1P SERPS today, and has been consistently there, since re-index.

The point is, Google does not always frown on adult like board lore claims they do. Nor will they simply tell you to fuck off. You need to follow the process. I suppose you can try and "game the system" but it would behoove you to simply contact them and ask.

You've only tried two times in 6 months? Wow. You are a patient man.

Ok, so are you actually 950 penalty, or are you completely removed from the index? Those are two different issues. One requires you to fax them a doc, and the other requires you to identify shit in your site you are being penalized for, and fix it, before you will be removed from 950/sandbox.

Barefootsies 11-21-2009 11:38 AM

I am not patient any more. It is 950 penalty... the site name comes up but not my keywords which are placed at 950. Actually, I think the site may get completely removed as I blew my lid and told the entire goog forum to eat shit.

http://www.searchenginegenie.com/Faq...e-penalty.html

Here are few important points you have to remember about Google Penalty.

* Manual penalties are usually related to off-site over-optimization, i.e. forceful link building campaigns
* Algorithmic filtering usually takes place with on-site over-optimization.
* A manual penalty might only be removed in slow steps.
* An algorithmic penalty is often removed automatically; it can also be removed with no apparent reason

Remember this too. If your competitor complaints you on your bad things, you will undergo manual review.

How to avoid Google penalty?

1. Make sure that your website is not linked to any spam websites, gambling & adult websites, banned websites and unrelated websites.

2. You check your server IP whether it has been blacklisted or not. If it is and cannot remove, change your server.

3. Don?t over stuff your keywords in content and Meta tags. Use only wherever it needs.

4. Don?t give excessive interlinks to the pages present in the same website. Extensive interlinking of all your websites, particularly if they are on the same C Class IP address will affect all your websites.

5. Avoid hidden text or links

6. You should not participate in any link farm. If you are interested in generating revenue through advertisement just go ahead by implementing no follow attribute for that link.

7. Excessive reciprocal link exchange will put you in trouble. It should be done only if they are relevant and useful.

8. Get one way links for your website slowly. Use different keywords for anchor text, don?t use the same for all back links

If you are sure that you haven?t done any violation of Google guidelines, request Google for reconsideration of your site ? Check this link for more details.

thanks for the tool. :thumbsup

it doesn't pick up on meta descriptions and titles though... I think just the html within the page itself.
