Possibly, but if the fan stopped the card would overheat and die. If you have a spare card put that in and see if there is any difference.

You can try cleaning it and making sure its set in its slot well

if that doesn't work its prly about to die

fuck - my monitor is screwed!

Check the graphics card and see if there's a build up of dust which might be making it overheat.

if there is a fan, clean the fan.. might be overheating issue
