Yep, my momma knows! She was kind of weirded out by the idea at first, but after she saw that it made me a living and made me happy, she was all for it--all for it minus the seeing naked pics of me part lol

Money is not money no matter where it comes from. I wouldn't want to make profit from the deaths of others, for example. Nor would I want to make money off of slavery or abuse. I have some morality issues with porn, but I see porn as a counter-balance to religious extemism such as the burka. Extreme expression VS extreme repression?


Oh, and my real mother died. She would not have approved, but would approve of my views on porn. My step-mom is fine with it, she likes erotica, but not porn. Similar to me.

My entire family does, why hide it if you are professional about what you do.

My immediate family knows, as for my cousins spouses, 2nd cousins, etc. no idea... When anyone asks what I do for work I don't go beyond "I shoot video" unless they pry. I hate having to answer people's porn questions. We kept my grandparents in the dark til they passed.

that is a pretty simplistic view of things.... often things should be on a "need to know" basis, if you are doing work for a mainstream company, is it necessary to tell them that you also run adult websites? if it serves no purpose to tell them, than why tell them that... same goes for an elderly parent or grandparent, if you do mainstream and adult work on the internet, why is it necessary to spell out all the details of every facet of your work?

Just being honest with parents is important. I understand about not bragging to your mainstream co-workers.

sure, being honest is important, but that doesn't mean you need to tell them everything, if they ask outright then sure, don't lie, but if they don't ask then there is no need to detail all facets of your online work
