PPS or Revshare on Review Sites?

What do you take, what's the best?

Carmine Raguso 11-22-2009 07:32 AM

I would have to go with revshare for your high rated sites just out of the sheer nature of the business model. If your reviews are 100% honest, and your surfers are using the site as a way to gauge their choice in porn, and they do indeed agree with you, then go for the revshare.

Go for PPS on the ones that get shitty reviews. :2 cents:

Revshare :2 cents:

Depends on the site and sponsor....

Review site surfers retain less, because they sign up to multiple sites and stuff. I know I'm going to get attacked by some review site owners, but this is what I've experienced and heard from other program owners. PPS should make you more.

That definitely makes sense.

Id advise people who promote many sponsors to diversify as much as possible, do PPS, Revshare, CCBill, Epoch, etc

Ever try mobile yet? If so did you use your no trailers approach?

I have heard that also however have not experienced it. One thing I have noticed is the more than normal they choose the reduced price monthly membership option.

Depends entirely on the individual site. And the what are the exact conditions of the PPS. Review sites make their $$$ by customers coming back through them again and again. Because they either trust the reviews or need that extra push recommendation for a site.

You'll likely lose that customer for life if: the charges are too aggressive or you recommend shit sites just for a payday.

review sites typically give you a trial and a quick cancel OR a really long-term customer, usually one or the other.

EscortBiz 11-22-2009 06:37 PM

damn just did a search in google on review sites there gotta be 1000+ sites now doing reviews

I would say the answer lies entirely on how you're going to acquire traffic to your site.

If you're going to be buying traffic, then you'll want to make back the traffic cost right away. Thus PPS is the way to go.

Otherwise if the traffic isn't costing you much and you're looking to make the most "long term" then revshare good.

It also comes down to the stability of the program. If you know a company has been around forever and will continue to be around forever (like AFF) then revshare is a safe bet.

Personally I've always promoted per signup except for AFF where my bulk is revshare. I like having a sponsor that is like a pension plan, lol.
