Reading Kindle books on iTouch/iPhone?

Decent solution or just a waste of time?

In other words, not a feasible replacement for the actual Kindle?

Much bigger screen on the kindle, and an even bigger screen on the kindle 2. Plus the battery lasts forever on the kindle.

I saw a Nook yesterday. Its ok, but I dont think Barnes & Noble will be any threat to Amazon's well established Kindle.

I'm reading a CSS book right now on my iphone and think it's amazing. I've never used a kindle but I don't think iphone books are too shabby. If I can call, surf the net, play games, listen to music and read a book (in what I consider to be good quality) why the hell would I need a kindle? Just my :2 cents:

I really wish some place like Best Buy carried them, I want to see the difference in screen sizes on the original and DX.

If they can get over the formatting hurdles it would be awesome.

I quit using the kindle and my iphone has a few books on it and maybe it is subject matter but I have not gotten into it. readable though.

LOL. Good question.

Can't really, but I've figured out a way to do what I want. What's really stupid is ebooks are $20-40, Kindle books are $10. Drives me crazy actually.

if you really want to read just buy a kindle

Or a book. ;-}

I've held out on the Kindle because it makes me feel dirty. I have a relative who keeps hinting that she's getting me one for Christmas so I may get the experience soon. I'm afraid to like it.

If someone wants to buy me a kindle for xmas I will use it
