I've been around gfy since gfy has been around.

To update...I have tried and tried and the phone is not being answered. I called his son back and gave him a SITREP. He advised me that he had contacted someone to drive over and check on his dad. It is about a thirty mile drive apparently so I will check back with the son at some point. Stay tuned.

Apparently he is not at home and his car is gone...could be a good or bad sign. I will keep calling thru out the night. His son is going to apply for emergency leave tomorrow.

I will respond to you this one time. I for one do not think that committing suicide is a bad thing if it is for the right reason/reasons. I have considered suicide every day that passes since '91. I have lived and do live with mind numbing pain 24/7. This past week or so has been really bad as I tripped over my dog and injured my already injured back and the pain level is off the chart...in addition I can barely move at all.

In his case his wife of 31 years left him for a much younger man and I think that time will heal this emotional wound so I do not think this is a good reason to commit suicide...thus when I get hold of him I will try to talk him down.

In my case I am subject to off myself at any given minute of any given day...thank you very much. You are now dismissed you disgusting speciman of a human animal.

I was injured...near onto death (and in fact died more than once on the operating table) during Operation Desert Storm in '91. I sustained unrecoverable injuries that have remained with me and will remain with me for life and I live with mind numbing pain 24/7. The reason I now have to live off of near liquid foods is because my esphogaus has closed up to the point that I can barely swallow. I have had multiple surgerical procedures for this problem but I refuse to have anymore procedures done. I have lost more than fifty pounds from a body that was not overweight in the first place.

His son is supposed to arrive around 6:30 PM PST. I have talked to my friend again and one good sign is that he is looking forward to seeing his son. Enough said about this matter.
