I was a vegetarian from birth until I was 17, and then the smell of bacon cooking took over and converted me to an omnivore.

I fucking LOVE bacon, especially the double smoke Danish bacon the sell at Toronto's St. Lawrence market (Whitehouse meats).

When I was pregnant with my son, the smell of bacon would send me vomiting. No idea why, I've always liked bacon.

Live in a country that doesn't have bacon at all and well, bacon appreciation thread titles are just asking for a fight.

However, on this occasion I will let it drop since I had two bumper packs of bacon sent over with the kids presents from my folks to sort us out over Christmas.... For sooooo long now, Christmas morning fry up with a fucking hot dog sausage, beans, egg, tomatoes, and a pathetic wafer-sliced ham-thing-cum-"bacon" just does not a fry up make.

This Christmas fry up will now be different. Well, except for the stupid Frankfurter

I love bacon, too. And, I love to bring home the bacon.

Just recently gave up on frying bacon and went to baking it. Comes out alot better.. nice a crispy no matter how thick.
