Free hosted FLVs format most legal tube owners prefer?

480x360 or 640x360 or ... ? Should I go wide-screen on new clips or not?
Regarding length .... ~3min is pretty much standard now, right?
Watermarks?
Dump format?

Thanks :thumbsup

Also the thumbs - do you need them? How many per clip?

I don't like watermarks.
Any size, but good quality, we can set as we want anyway.

dump format, hmm, flv url | thumb | description | paysite link | video length

that is it :)

I think the tubes prefer flv as its less on the size. 20gb compared to 40!

On a tube site, the watermarks essential! Whats it matter whether people like watermarks or not? Its just giving more reason for the surfer to check out the real thing in the sites members area where there wont be any watermarks.
A reasonable quality is worthwhile & if your format on your members area is wide screen then do widescreen as your viewers shall know what you offer in your sites.

The tube usually takes the thumb from the film for mouse over movement. 3 to 5 mins is good!

Which tube site do you run :winkwink:

Id rather keep my better quality scenes for my paying members. In turn, helping out my affiliates & not cutting all their throats. :thumbsup

2-3 minutes max. Focus on quality, rather than amount. Leave out the "best" parts, like facials or stuff like that. And write some short, but good, text links + banners.

Instead of only static watermarks, you can make the movie watermark as animated "banner" itself. Like showing the name of the actor, scene name/"number" and stuff like that too. It makes it more personal and surfers more curious. I'm surprised very few programs do that.
