...and if you did...did you spend more or less than you did last year? According to reports I heard throughout the day...spending was going quite well and people were not really buying the cheaper items per se.

stopped in staples to look at some laptops...it seemed dead in there, and they had no promotion signs up...so I left and ate lunch. Looked online at bestbuy and they had junk on sale, dell.com was promoting a deal, but once you built it with add ons...the price was no bargain. Wife wants a pink laptop for Christmas...

Never go shopping anywhere on black friday's, they can keep their sales don't need to run into a store full of zombie shoppers...

Gucci.com had a 10% off sale last Tuesday, enough of a discount to save on a few items... None of the big sites the last few days had anything I wanted or needed though.
