Do you like your business bank?

I'm looking for a new business bank with branches in California. Anybody here use a bank they actually like?

Not for years. Closest I tolerated was ING, but ended up closing them out, too.

BofA treats me pretty well. It just pisses me off when they keep sending me new cards because they are concerned that the old ones were compromised.

I think the fact that it is used all over the place probably doesn't help. I guess I need to start calling them every time I go somewhere. :(

When I had a B of A card, it never worked in person, so I would always have to be on my cell phone in a doctor's office or store, assuring them that, yes, I bought things in two different countries in one day through the magic of this thing called the internet. The web purchases, when it wouldn't be embarrassing, always went through. B of A claimed they had no way to contact me when I was making a web purchase and that is why they always waited for an actual in-person card one. Like they didn't have my contact info?

I stay away from national banks. Do love dealing with Tri Counties but even though they are a Nasdaq traded bank they pretty much stay up north location wise. I know they are slowly expanding down south.

Before then and in combination with my Tri counties banks I have been using a credit union. They provide me a whole lot of services. They waive fee's left and right, plus they will still loan money and stuff. Then both provide kick ass customer service.

Amelia, our business accounts are at Citi. What makes our overall experience with them satisfactory, has nothing to do with the bank itself, as they are all $uc!. We maintain a very friendly relationship with our local branch manager and his staff. That has made the difference in everything.

Well, admittedly I do not make a lot of online purchases but I do use my card in many states and countries and only had a problem once and that was because they had set my limit to $700/day or per purchase. A phone call took care of that.

However, they have replaced my card twice in the last year and that is a PITA for my auto-pay stuff . . . . like domain renewals.

Some of the perks include two free accounts (primary and sub) with free checks and no monthly fees.

There are some other things I guess, but they are the ones I rely on.

Answered in NP... But wondering, any reason you need a branch in California? I know its nice to do face to face banking, nowadays online is just as easy though. :2 cents:

Never had a problem with Wells Fargo; checking, wires, or credit card. Been with them 12 years, many branches through several states, and they've never given me grief for cashing piles checks with obviously adult-sounding business names.

Wells Fargo treats me great.

I love Bank of Montreal. The tellers like to trip me out sometimes about how much they know about me personally.
