GFY advertiser issue

here's something to consider.

often I see a banner, and try to go back to it but there's soo many in rotation I can't find it.

is there some directory of listed advertisers for GFY?

I actually honestly every so often try and FIND a PAID advertiser though GFY and have trouble finding it again.

this is an easy fix and one that will bring extra revenue.........

maybe a tiny link to a page that lists the banners with appropriate links.....?

I've actually done the same thing. Good idea

annoying isn't it

i actually spent several minutes hitting F5 last week trying to find a banner I saw
it was an ordeal but I did find it :)

Very good solution to a complex problem.

Actually, this has been requested before in a thread last year but nothing came of it. Good idea though. Maybe a DO FOLLOW list of archived advertisers with a banner and 1 text link :)

There used to be a drop down menu on the top left like where it says "User CP" that linked to the advertisers. Not sure why they got rid of it but it was a nice feature to have.

I think if they had a simple text link underneath the top banner, Click Here To See All Sponsors/Advertisers, it really would go a long way.

Would kill a lot of birds with one stone.

too bad... that makes sense... so that means it's doomed from the outset...

Amazingly simple idea but GFY has turned into a cumbersome bureaucracy preventing anything easy.

Plus 1

This is probably a large part of the logic behind not having the directory.
Unfortunately, ad-based web sites like this one rely on the almighty pageview

fris 11-28-2009 03:12 PM

ya should have our sponsors page

SleazyDream 11-29-2009 01:24 AM

this seems to have a lot of support..........

why the emphasis on a DO FOLLOW list?? are you trying to suggest a pr link for sale that will undoubtably get reported to google?
