Where do you buy your Music Online?

Itunes, Amazing, CDbaby, Rhapsody or others?

Blingbaby 11-28-2009 09:50 PM

piratebay matey har har

fatfoo 11-28-2009 10:07 PM

I usually download music for free by searching for it on Google.

L-Pink 11-28-2009 10:13 PM

itunes .....

mynameisjim 11-28-2009 10:14 PM

I subscribe to Napster, been doing it for years.

$15 a month and you can stream it all on demand on a few different computers and load as much as you want on an MP3 player.

Some people hate Napster for some reason but I don't understand why. It's legal and it's cheap and gives you access to pretty much all the music that is out there.

Waddymelon 11-28-2009 10:14 PM

Just about all of mine comes from itunes

Semi-Retired-Dave 11-28-2009 10:26 PM

Itunes for me as well.

CynBabes 11-28-2009 10:34 PM

Amazon lately

Semi-Retired-Dave 11-28-2009 10:35 PM

I do see Amazon just about every where now. They seem to be doing pretty good with their music sales.

Napster just got a bad name from the start with all the law suits.

NaughtyRob 11-28-2009 10:40 PM

itunes ftw.

That's what I've been using for the last few years as well. Plus with a problem called wmaconvert I can convert them to mp3s so I can burn CD's for free. :)

mynameisjim 11-28-2009 10:57 PM

Depends on how you use your music.

For me, there is no need to purchase it since all I do is stream it or put it on my MP3 player. I also don't collect music. After a week or so I never to listen to a song or album ever again. So for me, a subscription works best.

If you put everything on a CD or like to have a collection, then buying it is the best way to go I suppose. It just comes down to what interface you like since the prices are all the same.

After Shock Media 11-29-2009 02:56 AM

I either just stream it out of my phone via some app or I buy the occasional song for my wifes ipod via itunes.

SleazyDream 11-29-2009 03:11 AM

Bossman 11-29-2009 03:11 AM

My ISP has included 5 million songs for download with their service - they usual have all the latest, and for the rest there is Itunes :thumbsup

JD 11-29-2009 03:44 AM

jigg 11-29-2009 03:50 AM

I just go to Youtube, play it couple times and get over it and forget it exists

kmanrox 11-29-2009 08:28 AM

Itunes, is a ripoff, I use ZunePass, it's $15 per month and you can download as much as you want, including all new releases that you can get on the date they're out, then you can keep 10-songs per month.

The catch is that you can only listen to the songs on a Zune or 3 different computers as long as you have a subscription, once the subscription is done, the songs won't work, however, there are programs out there that will pull that protection out, so really you can keep them forever and put them on your Ipod :)

I live on my computers, so for me, it's wonderful to have, one click and you get the whole album.

BLOG BURGLAR 11-29-2009 09:39 AM

RandomNinja 12-01-2009 09:45 AM

Mostly iTunes these days. It's just so damn convenient!

bronco67 12-01-2009 10:13 AM

I like Amazon. No DRM bullshit. Fuck iTunes.

I will only Dl off a torrent if I absolutely cannot find an MP3 version for sale. I also listen to Grooveshark a lot, to see if I want to buy.

Horny Dude 12-01-2009 11:09 AM

Shit, am I the only one who still buys CD's in here? If I only like one or two songs I will buy them off Itunes. I just like having the actual product in my hand.

nico-t 12-01-2009 11:18 AM

torrents ftw

Juicy D. Links 12-01-2009 12:42 PM

itunessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss

Ayla_SquareTurtle 12-01-2009 12:54 PM

Napster for $5 a month, unlimited.

I can't imagine why anyone would pay per track when you can get free streaming on everything they have, plus tracks to keep. You get the $5 subscription price back in free credits on downloads.

Argos88 12-01-2009 01:04 PM

I honestly don't understand how can someone WASTE money in something they can get for FREE with two mouse clicks... Seriously... I just don't get it.

martinsc 12-01-2009 01:12 PM

mostly streaming, some downloads from various sites (amazon, itunes, etc)

Jimmy Rock 12-01-2009 01:18 PM

don;t even bother buying, I listen to pandora, on my comp or on my phone

Juicy D. Links 12-01-2009 01:22 PM

Freestyles greatest Hits volume 1-69 !!!!!!!!!

Lace 12-01-2009 01:24 PM

I just normally listen to streaming online radio through winamp/shoutcast. Works fine for me.

Once in awhile I'll tune into the local rock station online since I cant get reception out here.

candyflip 12-01-2009 02:52 PM

I don't. I just use Grooveshark at this point. It's on all my computers and my phone.

I've purchased all the music I care to purchase.

KRosh 12-01-2009 03:00 PM

Someone mentioned Spotify but that only works for certain Europeans :)
