What to give my dad for Christmas?
 

My dad is in his early 70's; he's older than my mom and they had me when they thought they were done with having kids. Yes, I was an "accident".

Due to his age, I have no idea what to buy him for Christmas. In previous years I've bought him books and such because I didn't have much money. Please remember that I'm a student.
But now I'm making good money working with Czarina and I can afford to give my dad a nice gift. What should it be?

What does he like to do?

Cant go wrong with a nice fishing rod at that age. Unless he doesnt like to fsh... maybe he would with a nice fishing rod.

does he drink? I usually give my dad wine, quality stuff he wouldn't usually buy cause he's a tight bastard, or a bottle of port from the year he was born.

My granddad always liked a nice sweater or a nice button-down shirt. He cares quite a bit about his appearance.

If he drinks you are home free - get him some port, scotch, armagnac or cognac
