Anyone have their own private cook?
 

I had one 10 years ago, use to work with Rachel Ray in Albany. I however don't have the time to cook for myself. Anyone here have a private cook?

We have a maid that does the cooking, but also cleaning, shopping etc.

i have one .. learned one thing, make extensive lists of food / dishes you like.

otherwise, they will assume the first things they made are all your favorites =p

i got my all in one living in maid . she cooks, cleans, walks the dog and does all the other things i don't have time for or dont want to do ;)

Nope but my wife does.. it's me.

I do, kind of.
She comes in on mondays and thursdays, picks up all the groceries and makes meals for the week in my kitchen. i just tell her what i like and the next week she'll have it made and in my fridge ready to go with heating directions.

Before I came to the hospital I was placing an ad for a housekeeper/cook to help clean the house and prepare a few meals a week. The cooking was going to be a big element when deciding whom to hire. Especially considering how picky I am about food. Hoping to find some person who is good general wise and then knows one cuisine inside and out. When I get back out of here I will find one to help the wife out.
