Can tuv=bes survive without us content producers?

So here's a question- if the tubes eventually drive a lot of us content producers out of business won't they be shutting their own doors in the process? They have to provide new content to their users to keep their traffic numbers up and if they give our stuff away for free we will eventually stop producing it and then what??? They may still have some of the top studios feeding them, but will that be enough to keep up the numbers they have now???

Just wondering why a symbiotic model of some sort is not the focus of these conversations??? Unless the tubes plan on producing their own content, don't they need us?

yes !

are you aware that big tubes have more money and power than most (if not all) content producers? And that they can hire the same content producers whenever they want? In the meanwhile they can steal at will :thumbsup

funny you say that, my director and i were just joking about the fact that if we go under maybe we can get a job shooting for the tubes?!?

but really, maybe we need a union Hoffa style?

Good luck on that.

So who wants to be dead and go missing - Hoffa style and all?

I have said it many times and it seems to never sink in. If the tubes bought their content there would be no issues at all with them aside from traffic people complaining about them taking all of the traffic.

When enough content producers have dropped off that it makes a significant impact, tube owners will move onto the next make $$$ model.

the point is to make your content worthless and theirs the only fresh stuff being produced.

what the hell do they need with content producers? they already have more content than any human could watch in a lifetime.
