IsoHunt Asks Court to Legalize Its Operations
I have not reviewed the applicants entire notice to determine whether or not he is making any distinction specific to music. Not that it matters.
The other critically important thing is the error made in saying that ISOHunt has made an application to the Supreme Court of Canada. They have, in fact, applied to the Supreme Court of British Columbia. As it is probable that the Canadian Recording Industry Association (CRIA) will bring any legal actions in Ontario, ISOHunt may be wasting a lot of time, energy and financial resources in court in B.C. Hahaha they're wasting their breath on this one. There's so much money backing the piracy laws on the books that a site like ISOHunt will never see the legal light of day.
