Next HUGE thing: 3D Porn (not toons, think 3d theater)
Seeing how major TV manufacturers are opting into 3D TV production, the next huge thing will be 3D porn.
You won't be able to stream/pirate it for a long time, and producing it demands special equipment. Only relatively wealthy people and geeks will have 3D TVs initially -- and both will pay for 3D porn. Heck, even I would. Who's producing 3D FULL HD Porn? Where do I sign up??? |

It will also take a lot of time for various niches & fetishes to be available in 3D. It's kind of hard to sell generic B/G porn regardless of it's in 3D or whatever. I mean how many people are like, "ZOMG 3D PORN!!1 I GOTTA HAVE IT NOWWWWWWW".
Now if you can appeal to your target audience AND have it available in 3D ya might have something. |

No current tv in 2009 will work with 3D-TV (ie. 3D without glasses).
The confusion for a lot of people is, there are many 120hz + TVs already on the market; however, none of them accept a 120hz signal yet. Signal and refresh rate are two different things. I think the main race will be between Sony and Mitsubishi. Sony has already announced all existing PS3 titles will become 3D via a simple firmware update, so they would have a huge market for their new television sets from all the gamers and I expect that to push them to get there first. |

TopBucks has some 3D Mobile movies... that work on the iPhone. I don't think they have an entire website dedicate to it though.
