What do you know about Google Adwords?
 

I just posted an add on craigslist for an adwords or ppc expert. Since google adwords changed their interface i have no fucking idea how to navigate it. I have been overwhelmed with people all over the country (craigslist) that "do it for a living" and claim to be the best. There seems to be allot more to it then I thought. What is your 2 cents on this subject? Keep in mind this is for mainstream website non adult...thanks :2 cents: :winkwink:

If there's one thing I've learnt about Experts, they're experts on fuck all.

I've been tweaking Goggle Adwords for a long time. It's really nice when you come to that point that the users like your ads and click them more often than your competitors ads. This is noticed by Google which then, not only shows your ad more times, you are also charged a smaller amount per click than your competitor and still placed as number one, due to Google's wish to add quality to their users.

It's a very well functioning system, but you need more than a basic understanding of the mechanisms behind it to be able to make bank. But spend a few hundreds on a smaller, less competitive branch and learn there. Then you move it up.

i like the new interface but use adwords only on mainstream

well in regard to Adult Adwords can be good or bad depending, unless the program allows you to place a pixel and track your sales and to optimize your campaigns you'll be flying blind and guessing which keywords drive sales and which are duds

the new interface takes some getting used to true, I can't say that i like it better, which is why i'm moving to one of the ppc management tools
