Hows sales so far in December?

For me, It has been average so far and could be better. The start of the month was very slow but seem to be picking up a bit. I'm seeing nice traffic dips on weekends already :disgust

Whats up with you?

chronig 12-07-2009 07:15 AM

Started off fine/great but yesterday was the worst day I've ever had :disgust:disgust:disgust :mad::mad:

NetHorse 12-07-2009 07:18 AM

fucking awesome! TGP traffic does rock atm - at least for me :)
I wish the conversions stay like this forever :))

Calico Jack 12-07-2009 01:34 PM

Slow so far, I was (and still am) hoping for a pre Christmas rush! In past years Christmas day itself has always been great. I guess a lot of lonely people sit at home and look at porn.

Nikitos 12-07-2009 01:55 PM

Sales are pretty cool! Webcams rule!:)

katharos 12-07-2009 03:43 PM

Dennis69 12-07-2009 05:14 PM

Agent 488 12-07-2009 08:04 PM

hawkadu 12-08-2009 04:32 AM

Yesterday was an extremely bad day.

AaliyahLove 12-08-2009 04:38 AM

for webcams December is always my best month! KB reminded me how much I made last December and I had to go back and check my records because it was such a big number I almost didn't believe it!
Customers are in the giving mood and it's cold out so everyone wants to stay inside and chat with me! Gotta love it

Membership sales for www.AaliyahLove.com is slow but steady so far, same as last month nothing crazy..yet!:)

dirtymind 12-08-2009 04:42 AM

Raf1 12-08-2009 05:04 AM

IT'S THE FUCKING XMAS SLOWDOWN and it will be like this till the end of january

Same shit happens in the summer.

The 2 major yearly slowdown in the industry will be the worst ever if you add up everything (tube, torrent, money crisis etc...)

Agent 488 12-08-2009 08:23 AM

better than november. thank god for gays and mobile.

Agent 488 12-08-2009 08:24 AM

feel sorry for those still trying to sell generic mainstream porn. that shit has died.

FrozenJag 12-08-2009 08:30 AM

As an affiliate I was hating life last 2 weeks of november but so far december im killing it. We have some different avenues and sources were tapping right now and it does seem to be helping. Still the same old game though, get that traffic.

The program is going well. Affiliate sales are starting to increase since last weeks launch. At first the traffic wasnt coming in very hard but its ramping up now and the sales are showing. Especially bloggers are doing real well.

Overall im really excited about December. I dont pay attention to all of these "slowdown" periods. Its all a bunch of excuses in my opinion on why to not get sales. Just keep working.

The Ghost 12-08-2009 08:47 AM

First week of December is up 10% over the same time period in November. New site & updated content probably explains it.

not so good

Barefootsies 12-08-2009 05:14 PM

Starting to get more complaints from potential customers saying their cards are being declined for 'high risk' site(s). I referred to the processors, and they said the customers are not from high risk countries, but their banks are declining them at the point of sale.

I have heard this now from Verotel, CCB, and Zombaio.

So despite people's worries about tubes and the endless debates on theft. The industry is being strangled at the point of sale by the banks denying would be customers from signing up.

Those emails and complaints are becoming more common. Both on rebills, and new sign ups. That is becoming a bigger concern, and is a major turd in the punch bowl.

I agree, these arbitrary credit card declines are much worse than tubes. For the first week of December it was terrible, this week is looking better.

Looks to be a little bit over average, if it stays like this.... So - I guess that is ok.

Yeah and you know that for every customer who emails you there are 10 or 20 more who just said "fuck it" and moved on.:(

You mean this for last days or last 12-24 hours?
Because since 1st Dec my sales are fucking UP, but 12-24 hours ago everything stopped... unbelievable...

Traditionally December is my best month of the year, but so far its not going so good. I had a major sales month in November (best month in 5 years), so I was hoping this trend would go on in December, but so far the sales are slow and rebills are low.. C'mon!

Zombaio keeps track of all the declines in their pie graph. That number, "unable to rebill" has been climbing the past couple of months and is in the double digits now.

Oh no. I have seen it growing over the past few months. However, it is starting to become critical on the reports, as well as people are starting to email me more frequently with these complaints.

Again, with Zombaio, I can actually SEE a report of all the people who are declined, and the reason for the decline. However, that is not to say Zombaio is perfect. Just a nice feature in their admin.

Their post back script is yet another story in it's self. That "password issues" is another thing I am seeing more of on the reasons for canceling memberships.
:disgust

hawkadu 12-11-2009 10:06 AM

Sales are almost dead for me since last two days. Before that, they were average. This week is looking like shit.

Why you rely only on zombaio is beyond me. You can easily use ccbill, epoch, segpay and zombaio at the same time just with the help of the ccbill cascade system. Its like found money on the street, you will make more with no extra effort(except the setting up).
