Anybody ever swim with whales? It looks absolutely incredible but I think I would have a cloud of brown waterdust around me if I ever met something like that in the water.

That whale even touched him, he would be dead. Would snap his arm off.

I had a 35ft whale shark pass by me while snorkeling off the galapagos islands. Scared the living shit out of me and they are also harmless :Oh crap

I think this is a real picture and I won't swear on it, but I think this is from the same "shoot" that was posted in the "Pictures of 2009" issue of "Time". The pic they used in the mag was printed upside down of the calf playing just below the surface.

I have never swam with whales, (two 6' reef sharks off Key West is as close as it gets for me) but I have seen and read stories and talked to swimmers/divers who have, and they all say the same thing, "for being so big, it was so gentle" and as with most animals, very curious.

But I have also seen video of a calf "playing" with a diver by grabbing the foot and dragging her down 3-4 times...

But I would willing take my chance and I would have LOVED to have been the one in the water for this picture!!!!
