Sucks to be that guy. Verbal agreements aren't worth shit!

So he did NOT enable auto renew, and had his spam filters set wrong and lost his domains? I get like 20 reminders before a domain expires, and even after the domain is technically expired it still will function for quite a while, then you still have like 30 days to renew it, then you have the option to pay a fee to get the domain back even after its fully expired before someone else can buy it.

Seriously there is NO excuse for losing a domain through them. Tons of reminders, tons of chances etc. He did not say they didn't send notices, he said they went to his spam folder... Did he not know that he had money due for domain renewals?

Thanks for the shout of Fris but that b/s is from May 2008! He didn't have auto renew enabled on his domains, and had his spam filters set incorrectly. Email reminders are sent weekly 45 days prior to expiration and all domains should be on auto renew ? especially the important ones! This wasn't Moniker?s fault.

Buy his own admission, he had his spam filter mis-configured.

Also, smart domain owners always register their most valuable domains for the 10 year max --so even if there is a glitch or a forgotten renewal, they have a wide margin of error.

Moniker is good company but case with snapnames is little disturbing.Also i renewed some domains last month beacuse it was low price promo too but now is even lower.That sucks.

I did as well but this new promo price is for transfers not renewals.
