Wo what's the verdict - Zombaio here to stay or?

I'm seeing more and more sites turn to them. Their rate is very appealing, but I'm scared shitless of another Ibill or Globill.

Anyone have anything good or bad to say?

Davy 12-12-2009 12:37 PM

The most you will loose is 2 weeks of revenue. :2 cents:

xenigo 12-12-2009 12:50 PM

I've had nothing but good experiences.

I don't have much to say on this topic. Bump for more replies for Les Grossman. I love business related posts.

Why not go with the company thats has been in business for over 10 years? See sig.

Shoplifter 12-12-2009 12:54 PM

That extra 10 points you get with their rates would be fabulous. One of our competitors just installed NATS so as to be able to use Zombaio and we are watching to see how it works out for them.

One thing I am curious about is how the Zombaio users are seeing their rebills retained. Are there many declined rebills?

I believe you went out of business for a while, also taking an ass-load of program owners money in the process. Remember that? :)

I just got a site set up with Zombaio and so far so good. As long as they offer daily payouts the only thing you are at risk of losing is your recurring members and a few days cash if they go belly up. I am willing to take that chance for awesome rates.

If the site is good recurring members will come back.

I've run the same sites with a number of different processors and found that they all recur differently. Wondering if anyone with a similar experience has tried Zombaio.

This is nothing against them as it applies to anyone that using a 3rd prty processor and has rebills ( i also use zomabio) but "just" losing your recurring members is a big deal. Thats the point of having a membership site is to build up a large base of recurring members. If you have any amount of members and lose the ability to rebill them then you going to be losing a ton of money.

lagcam 12-12-2009 02:06 PM

Nobody can predict the future, but in my experience, I have found them to provide a very professional service where it matters to me, and that is quality processing at a budget rate, and paying on time (or even early when a payment is due on a holiday) every time.

I think that people who actually process with Zombaio have a lot fewer issues with them than the people who don't, and love to tell you why.

heymatty 12-12-2009 02:11 PM

If anyone wants to provide affiliate tools for a zombaio paysite www.script5.com has it integrated already :)

Goldfish already answered this in the post you quoted:

Fact is, although it is an inconvenience to lose rebills, it is not as if you cannot get them back by emailing the member or posting messages in the members area asking them to resubscribe.

If you rely on people "forgetting to cancel" rebills then you need to look at the longterm future of your business model.

heymatty 12-12-2009 02:28 PM

Yea from my experience of buying sites and having new transaction Id's issued with cancel links you lose about 50%. Which although not great should be offset with the processing rates depending how long zombaio are solid for.

Anything over a couple of years low rates make more.

I still think there's a bit of a way to go till affiliates add a ton of zombaio links. Need more of a groundswell first.

BillyHoe 12-12-2009 02:36 PM

You stand to lose alot more than two weeks if they crumble. Think of the rebills. Rebills are the gravy to alot of site owners, especially smaller sites with lots of personality and interaction. Members tend to stay a very long time.
I know with the IBill scam, that's what hurt alot of the site owners I know. It wasn't losing the current month's sales that killed them, it was the 6 months of rebills that suddenly disappeared.
I've heard nothing but good things about Zombaio, but there's something about not paying the Visa registration fee that makes me really nervous. Time will tell I guess. Hopefully they don't go under cause they have great rates

ANyone have a list of programs usin Zombaio?
