Business Thread: CCBill Direct Pay EU
I was wonder if "Direct Pay Eu" by CCBill is worth messing with. Right now I just except credit cards through them. Am I missing out on sales? What percent of your sales are through "Direct Pay EU"?
Thanks Vink |
I don't know if it's worth messing with, vink. Good luck in trying to figure that out.

Short answer:
Yes. |
Even if you're missing just one or two sales it seems worth it, no? The more options the better I say.
Hit me up if you would like some more information. |
When you guys gonna payout webmasters with epass? That would make you the ULTIMATE biller. Hands down, you would rule the universe and all other billers would get in line to get a whiff of your nuts.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll set it up next week.
Paul, I'm hitting you up on icq. |

1. They make money on wire transfer fees 2. They benefit from keepng the money in the bank longer while checks are distributed and cleared. 3. They actually like to have a reasonable confidence they know their client's name which they would not get with epassporte. Not knocking ccbill. They stay in business because they think like a business. However, about ccbill Direct Pay EU..... On the plus side: You could possibly get sales from people in europe with no credit card On the minus side: These people have access to your site instantly, and in 3 days or so you *may* get paid, and you *may* not. If you do not, you will have to pay a "small" fee. Conclusion: Will appeal to some but not everyone. A better solution is the other type of bank debit (not offered by ccbill) where the customer waits for access till you have the money. Now THAT would be a good thing for ccbill to offer...... |

If you go to amazon.de the main form of checkout is DirectDebit so its a very useful service to offer your European customers...
For those running NATS or other systems feel free to hit me up about adding EU DirectDebit to your current cascade and look for big news in the coming weeks for those using CCbill...:winkwink: |

Many countries simply do not make it easy to get bank accounts, some countries are too unstable to put your money in a bank, and some countries the people simply don't believe in them. There are plenty of good reasons to not want to use (or can't use) a bank account, none of which have anything to do with illegal activity. If you ever spent time on this earth, doing business in other countries, you would know this. Why do Americans always have their heads up their own ass? |
