Adwords-Need Help!

I cant get this adwords figured out for nothin! I bid on several cam related searches (after a lot of research with keyword tool) looking for 3-4 word searches that were very specific and wouldnt cost a fortune PPC. At first I was getting traffic and with my budget set at only a couple bucks a day while were tryin to figure it out, it was running up fast so I lowered my bids down....well then I started getting very few clicks...well now Ive went back up on my bids,,,even twice as much as before now, and I still cant even get enough clicks to use up my couple doller budget. Maybe it takes several days for adwords adjustments to work out??? Sucks bad because in the first couple weeks of starting our cam label we were 3:140 on google adwords traffic, would like to get more traffic but for some reason just cant get the clicks. By the way Ive got like 18 or so 3-4 word keywords and my current bid on them(Auto bidding) is .80c,,,what do you guys suggest??

I suggest getting a PPC expert to assist you. Unless you have deep pockets, that is.

budget of "couple bucks per day" isn't going to work, it's not uncommon to burn through a few grand before one's campaign is properly optimized... :2 cents:

I was afraid of that,,,,although guess you cant blame me for hoping I could figure it out before I burned a couple grand!! Got a great start, was just wondering why it wouldnt get my clicks back. Will going up on the per day budget give me more clicks even though its not using all my daily budget now?

There could be number of reasons, but most likely it's either your low budget or low "Quality Score" of your ads...

Are your ads getting shown at all? Impressions are not zero?

Everyone of my keywords show a quality score of 7. I think 6 of my 15+ keywords have impressions and the rest arent being shown at all. The ones that do have impressions are even getting a great CTR %....However, It actually says "ad cant be shown on first page due to number of ads......." when you hover on the keywords status on all of them,,,no matter how high I go up on the bid it still says that. Should I be doing auto bidding like I am, or should I be doing manual bidding??

Top 6 Settings to Check When Starting a New Adwords Account

Quote:

Choose accelerated delivery, and your ads will be displayed as many times as possible (depending on impressions, search fluctuations, etc.) until your budget is depleted.

When I have a campaign that is under performing, this is the setting that I check first. Keeping my ad delivery set to accelerated gives me the opportunity to always be in ?the right place at the right time.? It also means that I have to work a little harder at managing my bids to remain competitive.

Bid and Budget Issues

If the cost-per-click (CPC) or cost-per-thousand impressions (CPM) bid for your ad group is higher than your campaign daily budget, the ads won't run. To lower your CPC or CPM bid from the campaign details page, check the box next to your ad group, and click the Edit Bids button.

What happens if my campaign's daily budget is lower than the recommended amount?

If you select a daily budget lower than the recommended amount, your ads can still show, but they won't appear as often as they could with a higher budget.

Thanks bro, that was actually the exact article I was looking for! It seems Ive done everything right so far and thats why my ratio has been so good..I think that since Ive got good keywords with good negative keywords(taking away any "free') searches, a lot of my impressions went down,,,but therefore the little traffic I have got is good...From this article, seems now the only thing Im missing is going UP on my daily budget, and actually going DOWN on my PPC bids,,,,Lets see what happens..thanks again!!

I strongly recommend setting up an adwords campaign with the term 'crackwhore confessions' and sending the traffic to crackwhoreconfessions.com

You will make mad bank.

Or better yet set up a campaign with the term "crackwhore confessions" and send it somewhere else. See how that retard Dirty D likes that.
