iBill -> Still not banned -> WHY?

If someone is linking another adult board -> BAN
If someone says Playboy is a crap -> (probably) BAN
If someone is advertising a company which scammed the half industry for millions of dollars: they can still be around.

This is UNREAL to say at least.

What do you think, Eric?

And what do you think webmasters, trolls, and surfers? :)

JamesK 12-13-2009 12:17 PM

yep I'm pretty surprised they're allowed to post here.

beerptrol 12-13-2009 12:23 PM

I'm not surprised. Programs, and scammers who fuck webmasters, are allowed to post and continue to do so. The only way iBill would get the ax if is they stole from Playboy. The TrafficJunky skin shows that at the end of the day it comes down to money, as long as you don't fuck with their money, it's all good

I have a comment about this. I know that gfy.com is owned by playboy, but it would be too undemocratic to ban people for speaking badly about playboy.

That would be comparable to Stalin telling his non-supporters to "shut the fuck up".

P.S.

I love Playboy

Iron Fist 12-13-2009 12:33 PM

Ice was the last admin who actually banned people on a regular basis, and he's gone now too..

Don't expect anything to happen quickly now.. unless you want to skin the board with a tube site... then you'll get a response in 30 seconds :)

Agent 488 12-13-2009 12:40 PM

i think your troll detector is broken,.

fatfoo 12-13-2009 12:41 PM

I have a comment about getting faster replies.

Now, I think they have already made computers that can pick up human thoughts and be controlled by humans by wires being attached to the person's head.

I think in the future people can connect these wires to their head and communicate faster, because - if they have a slow typing speed, say only 10 words per minute - they will communicate much faster in the process where a computer machine picks up their thoughts and translates it into text that is posted on gfy.

However, that being said - the problem is that some people have some secret thoughts in their head that they don't want computers to read. It would be quite unfortunate and quite embrassasing if some of the world's leading businesspeople came out as a bunch of gay paedophiles as a result of their secret thoughts being read and transmitted into gfy.

That's why we should probably just keep it to typing. I don't think we need thought police for now.

I suspected for a while iBill has only 2 fake nicks here and the whole 'i bought the old company' case is fiction. I still can't decide. But still its not funny to play with this, as they scammed so many hard working webmasters and made programs (barely) close shops, etc...

I dont agree with this, I hope not to have enemies, however, if I do, I dont want to speak, challenge or know of them.

Hate in your heart shall consume you to! :2 cents:

Back to the thread. Yes, If they Ibill have conned anyone then they should be banned. :Oh crap

Maybe Ibill say they dont con anyone and its just a seperate link to an rss feed creating the problem! :1orglaugh

just ignore the ibill threads and don't bump them. banning them works too though

Zester 12-13-2009 03:35 PM

the simple answer: gfy is not a democracy

F-U-Jimmy 12-13-2009 03:53 PM

Im just amazed at how many people still don't realize that IBILL is really back. Its already been proven that they have started stealing again. I guess it will have to happen to them before they realize these posts are for real ??? :Oh crap

The King of Pop 12-13-2009 03:57 PM

fatfooo is the owner of ibill right?

I assume that Jonas is talking about you in the AVN article:

Quote:

Since venturing back into adult, the company has made some new signings with clients that don't have a tainted history with the old iBill.

"Those commenting on the message boards, the people that've been burned, we don't plan on getting them back," Brown said. "There's no signing them up like we did back in early 2000s; people already have sites, already are processing with somebody. But the people just getting sites started, those are the people we're signing up."

Meanwhile, Brown knows some of the hate salvos will keep coming and the new iBill will just press on.

I love the way he says "like we did back in early 2000s". If he is included in the "we", iBill.net owes me money.

San is a fake nick fyi.

Playboy is crap and so is GFY

AmeliaG 12-14-2009 07:26 AM

Isn't the point of GFY partly to have an industry forum where a company like iBill can be mentioned and informed industry people can point out that iBill has a terrible history? If it is forbidden to mention them, wouldn't that make it harder for newer people to know not to trust them?

I think you missed the point. I was saying they should not be allowed in here in any form. No company reps, nothing. Actually, they should rot in jail already.

Although I am not a fan of IBill and would never recommend them, they have a right as much as any program that screws people around. If GFY took that stance than how many people much less programs would still be able to post on here? Where do you draw the line?
  • IBill ban for screwing webmasters
  • Webmasters who don't pay their bills or debt
  • Webmasters who broke the law and are charged
  • Companies who screw webmasters and employee's over
  • Harassing trolls who do it on ICQ or non-adult industry surfers
  • All illegal tube site owners

I am sure there are many more to add to the list, but my point is that if GFY started banning people / companies for bad business practices - you can image what the board would be like

I understood your point. I think new webmasters should be warned about iBill. I also think that, if iBill can be attacked (no matter how justifiably) in this forum, then iBill should be able to engage the people who have something to say about them.

NetHorse 12-14-2009 01:25 PM

This is a public forum, I don't think the moderators here have any obligation to ban them. From what I've seen moderators ban users only if they break rules to post here.

Besides, what's banning those idiots really going to accomplish? They make a post on here and get anally raped without lube by everyone. :1orglaugh

you forgot the fact that GFYers don't read, they only click links or look at the images/videos posted.

even if 7 posters shout "these guys are scum" - they won't read it if it's more than 3 sentences

adult webmasters are too lazy to save themselves
