During a live climate debate on danish tv, Henrik Svensmark a climate scientist, suddenly gets a heart attack after denying that the climate changes is made by humans.

Pretty scary

Having seen one in real life, I will skip watching that. However, I am sort of surprised there aren't more deaths on air. Just by law of averages you would think it would happen now and then.

You are right.

Still a scary sight to know someone may actually die.

Yeah that clip is also up on Jewtube.
Horrible when he falls down and the audience thinks its part of the act so they just laugh at him :(

twice in two days? Same thing happened in Sweden yesterday when a quick thinking referee saved the life of a swedish ice hockey player after the player’s heart stopped during a match on sunday.

He's fine. Heard that it was only a minor but very sudden stroke. But looked damn scary..

The last thing they said was

TV Host: "Are you alright??"
Henrik Svensmark, scientist: "It's my heart"
And then he fell over..

KILL_FRENZY 12-14-2009 03:17 PM

That's some scary shit. But at least he's OK. These things are awful to see...

zurc-net 12-14-2009 03:44 PM

Sigh.. that was fucked up...
