Someone help me out - i aint got no sound (winxp) and its driving me NUTS!
..i recently (after a bad malware/virus attack) did a fresh install of xp and everything is working fine, except that i get no sound when watching flash videos.. did the following:
- uninstalled / reinstalled flash, codecs, blah.. nothing works.
- checked my registry for "wavemapper" entry (msacm32.drv),
- even checked if my volume was set to zero.. it wasnt.
i simply get no sound in flash (everything else, like winamp and all, works perfect)
Any clues?!?! ..am i just drunk and don't see the obvious?
whoever points me into the right direction gets a custom cartoon character for free.
