I want to know what rate I'm gonna get when I'm withdrawing cash from ATM.

visa rate

nolongerexists 12-15-2009 09:55 AM

i dont think so, unless there are some other fees.

Visa sets the exchange rate we have nothing to do with it, they set the exchange rate for all their cards. We only charge a flat fee of $2.

Are you taking into account the epass withdrawal fee, and any fee the local ATM may add?

nolongerexists 12-20-2009 07:43 AM

yeah, fees shouldn't be even 1% of atm withdrawal... unless there is Bank Fee (0-5%), that can fuck up the rate pretty bad.

According to that I should get DKK 5.18 for one US$ but thats no where near the real rate.
If I go into the bank with US$ I get $5.06.
You should compare the rate with what you would get if you went into your bank with US$ when I do that I get about the same from the card as if I exchanged cash.

Sell - buy .. you can't change the profit/loss to zero. Otherwise the currency market wouldn't work. Just hope for better mid-rates, which is happening now :winkwink:
