Sorry but I wouldnt bother calling the LA agencies if thats your pay rate for a g/g/b shoot.

Interesting that they both got the flu though... at $300 you should expect that more often. Not trying to rail on you but a g/g/b rate from an agency will be closer to $1000 a girl and travel expenses to San Diego.
