I believe this video is a piece of propaganda.
They say the bodget was $300? That's just ridiculous.
Just calculate the time spent on the effects and the living costs of the people working on that... They would not even be able to finance half a day.
Seems to be Hollywood's newest rave to undercut others with the movie budgets they make up.

She lives quite near my girlfriend.

i don't know i have seen some student films that were very professional

when you have an entire semester, have been building up artifacts for 2-3 years of school
have free labor (classmates) and lab time (high end computers, editing studio) you can do something that good for very little out of pocket money.

I did click the link however, and as i did so all that wss going htrough my head was....
