Recommend a fun gateway/resort in north east..
 

ok my family wants to go somewhere for the holidays, like some kinda resort/gateway where we can do activities, relax, not have to do house work, etc..

anyone know somewhere that is close to maryland, like maybe va? ny? pa? delaware.. etc..

something within 4-5hrs drive..

We just spent the weekend before last at Turning Stone casino in Central NY.

It was beautiful. My whole family went and we got a few rooms. The kids loved the pool. My mom, sister and girlfriend loved the spa. I spent most of my time in the poker room and the buffet.

It's a HUGE place with a shit ton of restaurants and nightclubs and entertainment.

I don't smoke, but if you're a smoker you can smoke pretty much anywhere on the property.

its cold you know so we are looking for somewhere we can still have fun.. how much did you pay per night for the resort

There's lots of snow related activities close by.

My parents picked up the tab, so I have no idea what the rooms costs. I'd guess mid $200s per night.

This is about 3 1/2 hour drive from the maryland area. I go here every year for the past 20 years. :thumbsup

Love The Homestead! Started going about 20 years ago too, but admittedly haven't been back in about 10. I need to plan a vacation. Wish I had been there this past weekend :thumbsup
