2 weeks now of poor quality tv, and shops shut.

and last thing i want to do is spend a day with my family.

i am not bying anyone a present nor as card.

i see no reason to, just because everyone else wants to buy people a lot of rubish they do not want.

but this terror will ends with socks and soap under the tree ... happy times

xmas is honestly great with little kids around. I was never big on it before I had my own family, but now I love this time of year.

hey, its what keeps the economy spinnin' round. i am not a huge fan either but do enjoy time with the family as i live 8 hours away from them. as for the shut shops...must be different over there. holiday season means even longer open hours than usual.

I find this time of year to be a consistent disappointment and full of stress. I am not big on the 'holiday season'

No you probably arent the only person, there are a ton of sour or antisocial people, even those who get offended by it having a religious undertone. I know some people like that, and they are miserable to be around most of the year anyway, so those sorts of people are just best avoided.

Personally I love the time of year. Have a great time seeing friends and family and relaxing with good company :) We don't do the presents crap, or get caught up in the huge shopping thing .. so its all low key and enjoyable.
