Do you give both your free members and paying members anything for Christmas ?

I am thinking of giving over 470 members on one of my game sites free credits which they would normaly have to pay for. Should I give the credits to both paying and non paying members ?

Im kinda thinking I should just give the credits to all members so that the non paying members can get a taste of the full game and it would be nice for them as a small Christmas Pressy and a way of saying thanks for playing the game


What would you do?

Maybe give the non paying members half as much credits as the paying ones ?

I would give the present only to the paying members, unless you have a method to convert the non paying members into paying members by giving them the present.

I think you should make the non-paying members deposit at least $1 real dollar. And then say, "The incentive is - pay a real dollar, and get 5 dollars free" - something like that.

It makes no sense to just give out $4 to non-paying members.

If you make them pay at least you get their credit card info, or whatever.
