Any wordpress gurus around?
 

I am putting together a new blog and haven't messed with wordpress in quite awhile. I am using a different gallery plugin then I normally do and I can't seem to get it to show the gallery in the posts.

I posted just a test post to see if it is working and it comes up blank. Actually it even takes away the text I have in the post too.

I am using the "Page Flip Gallery" and the website it http://www.sincity-nightlife.com
Am I forgetting something I need to do for it to have code work correctly or something? I figure someone might know some little step I am forgetting.

Wordpress has a nice built in gallery.

Just use that...

I know that there are several other gallery programs and the built in one is fine but this specific one looks like a magazine and I think it works with what I am going to be doing with this site. If all else fails I will just use the standard ones but for right now I would just like to try and get this different one set up and have something a little more unique.

As for the path. In the plugin notes it just says.

"To add the FlippingBook add this code on the text area:

[book id='1' /]"

I have done that and changed the numbers to other galleries and nothing changes. Is there something else I need to add somewhere else to get it to come up correctly?

i thought i would be able to help you but i've never heard of the script.
is there no support from the coder available for it?

I emailed the last 2 days and haven't heard back. I figured the holidays it might take awhile and since so many people use wordpress on here maybe it was something little and dumb I was missing or doing incorrectly.
Everything has worked perfectly setting it up and uploading photos, it's just the posting that I am stuck on. It is a great looking gallery from all the pages I have seen demo's on.

Good luck with that wordpress stuff.

Heya Payton, have you checked to see if the version of the plugin you're using is compatible with the Wordpress version you have set up? Shoot me an IM over ICQ and I'll take a peek and see if I can assist. :thumbsup

Yes I have the most recent wordpress version and it looks like it is compatible with it.

Have you tested it with a different theme than the one it's f***ing up with?

Also, are you putting the code in the html version of the post?
