Havent seen him around,its been a while...I hope he is ok :Oh crap

been wondering about him - i fear he's got more medical problems and procedures keeping him from posting on GFY. sure does suck :Oh crap

I visited him at Stanford Hospital about a month ago, and we had a good visit.

He seemed in good spirits. He was supposed to transfer to another hospital following further tests and procedures.

I'm not on a computer where I can log-in to my e-mail right now, but I'll try reaching him later tonight, and let him know about this thread, and that people are thinking about him...

Thanks ADG I emailed him twice in the last week and heard nothing, it's making me wonder if he is ok! If you or anyone else gets a hold of him please wish him and his wife a Merry Christmas. Thanks

I hope he's ok. He seems like one of the 'good ones'. Was fun hanging out with him in Miami a few years ago.

I had been talking to him several times a day, via email and phone until the 11th, after that nothing, have emailed him a couple times, and have gotten no reply.

I do know that he was having internet issues at rehab because of the network restrictions on where he could go, he had to use a proxy to post here and to view many other sites.

hopefully that's the reason he's not been around.

Did not hear anything about it.

asm is one of the most solid guys in this business..

he's one of the few people here that can back up their strong opinions with an educated argument..

i hope he is doing ok...

i've been wondering about him as well. surely somebody in this industry is in touch with him or his family. i sure hope he's ok, sucks that anybody has to deal with the health problems he's had to and at a young age at that.

I hope he's ok too. The radio silence concerns me. Hoping you or ADG might have heard something recently :(

Definitely a nice guy. I exchanged emails with him a few times when I noticed we were on some of the same meds ... right before that big trip by ambulance that he posted here that he was worried about.

Didn't he always have the plan that if anything happened to him, his wife was to immediately take over and would post news here? I do recall that he was hoping for the best but planning for the worst and trying to make it so that if anything happened to him, she wouldn't lose their income. He also wanted to make sure that the GFY community would know.

I'm hoping that because nobody has heard from either of them that he's OK and just dealing with stuff.

Bump for AfterShockMedia, please dude show some sort of presence. You didn't know who I was and helped me out, plus everything else everyone says about ASM proves bad things happen to good people. Keep up your spirits ASM hopefully you can read this from a proxy.

Hope he's just going through medication and will be all right, a very smart man who always keeps his chin up.

I do remember him saying that, but I can understand if something were to happen GFY would prob not be near the to of her list.

David always has and will end up on top.

That's always a difficult thing. I won't defriend them but it's hard to look at their profiles...especially if it was sudden and they were actively posting that same day. Constant reminder of how things can just change at the bat of an eye.

I think the fact that his cell was on and Fungus was able to leave a message is a good sign.

I'm hoping he's just feeling a bit anti-social from all that's going on.

He is missed here for sure. He has been always very helpful giving good and honest advice.

David (ASM) has hosted with us for like 7+ years and has become a personal friend to myself and some of the staff here. We also have not heard from him in approx 2 months. The last time I spoke to him was around 2 months ago and he was in as good of spirits as he could be in his situation. He had just completed one surgery and was wanting to have a double amputation performed. This guy is an incredible person as he would bend over backwards to help anyone who needed and ask for nothing in return. I know he has some close friends on the boards (Fungus) and others and has done business with many others. I will surely post if I hear anything from him. David our prayers are with you bro.:(

The last time he was in the Hospital he had some major issues getting and staying connected to the net. Hopefully this is the case again.

I have spoken with him on ICQ a number of times and he seems to be a great guy.

I have just completed a sacrifice and Mayan Ritual to help him heal and on his way back to us. Anyone can do similar I am sure he would appreciate it.

The internet is a strange place.

Probably the weirdest thing is when people on the fringe post things on blogs or other sites about someone who's died, using first and last name, and just spewing craziness. People who are at a distance love to speculate, twist tradgedy, they don't realize the shit they talk is crawlable, and that the real close friends and family often come across the things said. :disgust /rant

Surely I would hope that the sites still being up and running may be a good sign. Thanks for posting, keep us in the loop. :thumbsup

Of course we will leave all his servers up and running while he is dealing with his health issues. As I have said before ASM is family to us here.

I really hope ASM is okay. Wherever he is, I'm sending out positive thoughts his way.
