This story just sickens me. What kind of a fucking animal do you have to be to do something like like this?

Nothing new about any of that..its how they have operated for decades, they are ruthless and quite honestly without diminishing the loss of life in this case, the cartels are guilty of far more horrific acts.

Yes it's a good idea.. what are you new?

addicts will be addicts, but if the drugs are legal then at least you don't have drug cartels running the operation. Oh sure, their sons may become president, but at least they won't be killing all willy-nilly.

Making things like drugs, sex, gambling illegal only makes them more profitable and feeds money directly to criminals. Doesn't stop usage in any way. If anything it makes more harmful drugs like meth and other drugs that are mixed with all kinds of fucked up chemicals more appealing because they are easier to cook up and sell cheaply then trying import weed etc. The fact that you are living in a "big drug town" and drugs are illegal should clue you in to the fact that making them illegal doesn't stop anyone from getting them or using them.

LOL not a single fact to back up any of that. How about there wouldn't be any cartels if it was legal? How many people wouldn't smoke crack if they could get a blunt at the corner store? Crack wouldn't even exisit if cocaine was legal because you could have pure real cocaine at a fraction of the price that even crack costs now.

I'm sorry, I meant... new to american society and it's already very well accounted for experiment in prohibition of drugs in the form of prohibition of alcohol, the results of that are well accounted for and show pretty much exactly the same results as our "war on drugs" show today for these types of drugs.
