few pics spawned from my boredom at work tonight

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...o/cabaret2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...o/cabaret3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v7...o/cabaret4.jpg I'm redoing the photography for the website at work... popped in right before we opened to take some shots of the club (the first two posted) and stopped when we had customers walk in... which was right when we opened. The last two are me messing around from behind the bar ... I have a ton more but these are the most interesting ones I think. Funny to see a club that's usually busy completely empty haha. Any comments on the photos are appreciated.:2 cents: |
cool place, btw ;)

Thanks ;) I'm incredibly proud of it. Not a bad "day job"

3 Olives is a great brand.. not to dry and the various flavors can be mixed into wonderful things
|
3 olives has 15 or 16 flavors. We carry ALL of them except Triple Espresso and chocolate. It's ridiculous. Our liquor storage has an entire shelf devoted to 3 olives and another one for patron since we move so much of it.
FWIW Pinnacle and 3-O are the EXACT same vodka, same recipe, same ingredients, just different bottles. I was surprised when I found that as we carried Pinnacle at the last place I worked. I still prefer Stoli vodka over anything else, but I usually drink a Vanilla Press so I'm not a hardcore Vodka purist. I am able to tell the differences between most of the "High end" vodkas by taste. You can make virtually anything that includes vodka with 3 olives. Unless it's a "Goose and redbull" ... but most people just ask for "Vodka Redbull." I would really love to sit down with their full line of vodka and a full bar of mixers and just think up drinks. Unfortunately though I'm not funding that adventure myself and I won't justify pouring $500 in liquor because I'm trying to be creative. I think I could make some pretty neat things with the Vanilla, Chocolate and Triple Espresso. I stumbled across a damn near perfect mix for a rootbeer float about a year ago - Rootbeer vodka, Vanilla vodka, and diet coke of all things. Mixed right you can hardly taste the alcohol and it tastes near identical. |
I see an untapped bottle of Jameson with my name on it...

Very cool place!

Nice shots, Jon!
I am going to have to make it a point to drop by and see you ;) |
that made me thirsty....
|
Looks so cool doode!
|
I drank too much straight vodka years ago. I can't stand it in any mixed drinks. Now I usually only drink whiskey on the rocks.

Thanks to everyone else, definitely appreciate it coming from this group. Nikki - stop by whenever ... I'll give you a call when I get back from LA and we'll have to get together and go "club hopping". |
Black HAUS!
|
I'm going to go there and put some gum on a couch. Think of it as a christening.
